Dr. Cowan completed fellowship at Memorial Sloan Kettering in NYC in gynecologic oncology. She received her BS from Cornell in Ithaca, N.Y., and MD/MPH from Temple in Philadelphia. She went to residency at MedStar Washington Hospital Center in D.C.
